I am Warren. I moved to the village about seven years ago and initially fell into a head gardening role on a large private garden further afield. Having worked professionally as gardener since the late 1990’s my passion and love of plants is stronger than ever.
Speaking to Malcolm Pharaoh (head gardener at Marwood) and Lin I was enthused at the prospect of joining a team where passion for the craft that is ‘gardening’ was so evident. Many moons ago now I started off my gardening career in Chelsea, later moving further afield to the home counties with my focus on organic and wildlife gardening in small and large spaces and spent many years developing gardens in this vein both in the UK and further afield.
I am delighted to now be a part of the team at Marwood where staff and volunteers share a common passion creating the most wonderful of environments to keep our treasured plants in good health for the community to enjoy and their heritage to be preserved.
