Available from one or two nurseries in UK and possibly in Europe.
Raised by Georg Arends of Ronsdorf, Germany in 1930.
Named after one of Arends employees.
Highly Commended RHS Trial 1970.
An arendsii hybrid.

A good cultivar rarely available which is a pity as it is a good garden plant with deep red flowers on strong stems.
Arends described the flowers as “Dark salmon-crimson”
