Available from one nursery in UK and possibly in Europe.
Raised by Georg Arends of Ronsdorf Germany in 1924.
An arendsii hybrid.
Astilbe japonica x Astilbe davidii.
Named after one of his employees.

A good tall cultivar which gives height to a bed of Astilbes.
A shame it isn’t available in nurseries although the need for dwarf cultivars makes it unattractive for the modern garden.
