An arendsii hybrid.
Astilbe japonica x Astilbe davidii.
Named after one of his employees.
A good tall cultivar which gives height to a bed of Astilbes.
A shame it isn’t available in nurseries although the need for dwarf cultivars makes it unattractive for the modern garden.
Panicles held well above the foliage.
