Available in several UK nurseries and Garden Centres and popular in Europe.
Raised by Georg Arends of Ronsdorf in Germany in 1940 as a sport from “Rosa Perle”.
Highly Commended in RHS Trial in 1971.

A free flowering plant with good colour and bronzy foliage through the season.
A good garden plant.
Used extensively in Holland as a cut flower subject mostly because it has no or very tiny petals, the colour of the flowers coming from the filament. With no petals the flower holds its colour for a long period making it popular once the flowers are cut.
