As well as being spectacularly beautiful, Marwood Hill Gardens contain many rare and interesting plants and flowers. The staff are often asked about these by visitors and so I started visiting the garden at approximately monthly intervals to photograph the more unusual and interesting plants that were in flower at that time. With the agreement of the garden manager, we then put a selection of these pictures, together with a poster giving brief details of each plant, on the notice boards so that the visitors knew what to look out for.

We updated the displays each month, so that the pictures and notes reflected the garden as the visitors found it.

This gallery contains the pictures that we used for all the 2010 displays.
