Our 20-acre garden is situated in a steep valley, and can be difficult to access for members of the public with mobility issues.
The map below shows the route we would suggest for people with limited mobility. The suggested paths are highlighted in yellow. Depending on ability, some individuals with mobility issues may need a motorised wheelchair or buggy to access the yellow route. Sadly we are not able to provide these.
- We offer a concession price of 2 for 1 entry for people with limited mobility.
- Please note limited mobility visitors travelling in cars can be dropped off and collected from our entrance. Our main car park is 500m from the garden entrance but the route from the carpark to entrance is flat and tarmacked.
- There is disabled access to the toilets, Garden Tea Room and Walled Garden Nursery, but sadly we cannot offer disabled access to the rest of the garden.
- We provide many seating areas around the garden and tearoom for visitors to sit and enjoy the beautiful views
