More success for Marwood...

Marwood Hill Gardens were Winners of The Rothschild Challenge Cup, awarded for the best exhibit at the RHS Rhododendron & Camellia Show held at Rosemoor on April 25th.

It was a great day! The Marwood Hill Garden display looked stunning, Well done Malcolm, Maggie, Lin and Judith Ward. Also well done Judith Johnson - you got a 1st, 2nd and 3rd for your lovely floral arrangements.

The Rothschild Challenge Cup was presented to the Rhododendron Association by the late Lionel de Rothschild and transferred to the Society in 1946. From 1946 to 1963 it was not offered. From 1963 to 1987 it was offered for the best exhibit by a trade grower at the Rhododendron Show.  Now it is awarded to the best exhibit in which rhododendron predominate, shown at an RHS event during the year.

Marwood Hill Garden has been exhibiting for 7 years. We are so pleased to have been awarded this beautiful cup, we very much enjoy exhibiting at Rosemoor and hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
