This was the first time we had attended so all those involved were thrilled with the award. 01 May 2007: The gardens in May 21 April 2007: Marwood attends RHS National Rhododendron Show at Rosemoor SOME OF THE EXAMPLES OF RHODODENDRON, CAMELLIA AND MAGNOLIA GROWN AT THE GARDENS AND CHOSEN FOR THE STAND AT THE SHOW 03 April 2007: Head Gardener Receives Award "The David Trehane Camellia Cup is awarded annually by the Rhododendron and Camellia Committee to a person who has significantly promoted or increased the knowledge of the genus Camellia. This year the cup is awarded to Malcolm Pharoah, Head Gardener at Marwood Hill Gardens. Malcolm has continued Dr Jimmy Smart's work at Marwood and been instrumental in keeping Marwood's name for Camellia excellence, particularly the unique collection of reticulatarta forms and hybrids to the fore.
